Our Funding Needs

Every single day, Claire House Children’s Hospice needs over £6,500 to cover its cost of care - with administration costs, that’s £2.5million a year.

With little guaranteed government funding, we need funding for everything from our catering, housekeeping and vehicles to our hydrotherapy pool, medicines and televisions. And it’s through the fundraising efforts of some truly amazing individuals, companies and groups that we’re able to keep the doors of our hospice open.

In 2013, we're asking fundraisers to Pay for a Day. By pledging to raise £6,500, you'll pay for 24 hours care at the hospice, helping up to eight families enjoy our facilitieson that day. You can donate in a lump sum or fundraise over time, raise the money alone, or with colleagues or friends. And as a thank you, Claire House will dedicate a day of your choice, to you.

But you don't have to pay for a day; pay for an hour or even a minute, every donation, big or small, makes a huge difference!
