Liverpool swimming enthusiast Chloe Johnson has been splashing her way to success, all in aid of Claire House Children's Hospice.

A member of Everton Swimming Association, 10 year old Chloe has been swimming three times a week since she was a little tad pole. Chloe swam five miles in memory of family friend Harvey Jones-Langan, who passed away at Claire House in 2009, and has already raised nearly £2,000 for Claire House.

Chloe's mum Carrie said: "Chloe has first-hand experience of losing a loved one, when her younger sister suddenly passed away six years ago. She first heard of Claire House when our family friend Harvey spent time there and it seemed only natural she would choose to raise money for the hospice.

"Chloe is a very caring and thoughtful person, and enjoys helping others. She's an inspiration to her family and friends and is so excited to have already raised so much money for Claire House."

Everyone at Claire House is amazed by Chloe's achievements and can't thank her enough for all her hard work!
