Claire House was visited by a Queen yesterday....not Her Royal Highness but stunning beauty queen Daisy Whetlor, 17, who was recently crowned as Miss Teen Great Britian in a glittering ceremony at the Globe Theatre in Blackpool.
The competition sees girls from across the country come together to take part in an event that is about more than being a pretty face; with making new friends and building confidence are just as important.
Claire House was the chosen charity of this years\' Miss Teen Great Britain competition and all the competitors threw themselves into fundraising for our hospice. The final of the competition raised an amazing £7,500 for Claire House, enough to pay for a day and support our children and young people for a full 24 hours.
Claire House would like to thank Daisy for taking time out from her Miss Teen GB duties to come and visit us and to all the girls who took part in the competition for all their fundraising.
