Shop Manager – Frodsham

Salary Band £15,000 - £18,000 per annum

35 Hours per week Monday - Sunday

 

We have 26 high street shops across Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales and last year our Retail Division raised over £600,000 in profit to help support the work of the hospice.

 We strive to make each and every Claire House shop the best on the high street, creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.  As one of our Shop Managers you will have a direct influence on the sales and profit of your shop. You will be responsible for managing a team of volunteers and working with donated and new stock. The successful candidate will have previous supervisory retail experience along with working within the clothing sector.

Assistant Shop Manager – Heswall

6 month temporary contract

Starting salary £7.40 per hour

6 Hours per week on a Sunday

 As one of our Assistant Shop Managers your role will be to assist the Manager in the day to day running of the shop, having a direct influence on the sales and profit of the shop. You will assist the Manager in managing a team of volunteers and working with donated and new stock. The successful candidate will have previous supervisory experience or experience working/volunteering in a similar environment.

Temporary HR Advisor (maternity cover) - Part Time

Salary Band: £21,400-£25,175 (pro rata)

Do you want to come to work each morning knowing you can make a real difference? Claire House is a place of laughter, positivity and care with a vision to help more children and families who need us. We have an established People Services team at Claire House and will have a temporary HR Adviser vacancy as a member of staff takes maternity leave in the summer for approximately 6-8 months. We are looking for someone who can embrace our culture and values and quickly fit in with our existing team who support both staff and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional with a sound knowledge of operational issues who can work both independently and as part of a team.

They will need to be a car owner who can visit Retail locations when required for which they will receive a mileage allowance. The role will be based at our Clatterbridge Road site and will involve providing HR support and guidance to staff both on and off site. The individual will also be responsible for generating contracts and letters on a wide range of topics, providing guidance on recruitment and staff policies and procedures. They will also provide statistics and analyses as required and be IT literate with experience of HR and payroll systems – HR Select would be ideal.
