Fundraising Volunteer Development Coordinator – Fixed Term 2 Year Contract - Starting Salary £18,860

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Volunteer Development Coordinator to join the fundraising team at Claire House Children’s Hospice. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the network of volunteers for the fundraising directorate, creating and delivering a strategy to ensure the fundraising team has a plethora of enthusiastic volunteers across the entire catchment area.  The role will involve the recruitment, training and development of volunteers, who are an extremely valued resource at Claire House. 

 

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing diverse groups of people, proven project management skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Area Fundraising Administrator – Full Time Permanent Contract - Starting Salary - £17,020

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Area Fundraising Administrator to join the team at Claire House Children’s Hospice. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the administration requirements of the area fundraising team, providing administrative support for all area fundraising projects and coordinating the administration of the fundraising volunteer workforce. One of the main purposes of this role will be to create and maintain an effective recording system in our supporter database in order to provide effective analysis and enhance future support for the charity. 

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working in an administrative or customer service function and will have experience of using customer or supporter database systems. The candidate will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have experience of working in a busy environment.

Assistant Care Team Members: £15,000-£17,450, plus benefits.

If you are looking for a role in which you can provide outstanding clinical care and really help make a difference to children, young people and their families, are highly motivated and welcome the opportunity and challenge of working in multidisciplinary team, we now have opportunities to expand the services we provide.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in health and social care, ideally with experience of working with children and young people with palliative/complex health care needs.

Finance Assistant – starting salary £16,500.  Full time permanent role, (part time hours may be considered)
We are looking for a bright, self-motivated individual to join our small friendly team and be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger as well as assisting the Finance Manager with the preparation of monthly management accounts.

The successful candidate will have experience of SAGE 50 Accounts & excellent Microsoft Excel skills.  They will enjoy working on their own as well as being part of a team and will demonstrate strong communication skills and attention to detail.

They will ideally be AAT qualified, however, we will consider those at the start of their career who want to study for an accounting qualification. In these circumstances the salary will be adjusted to reflect experience and a training package negotiated.
