Finance Administrator – Retail – 16 hours Salary TBC

 

We are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to reconcile and check the takings and bankings from our retail outlets. Experience of working in a finance team and performing complex reconciliations is essential. Ideally the successful candidate will have or be working towards their AAT qualification and may be required to manage or support administration volunteers.

Head of ICT – Salary £ Competitive

We’re looking for the right person to lead the development of ICT – an ‘all-rounder’ who will enable everyone at Claire House to achieve more and also as a driver of change in your own right. You’ll lead on ICT strategy and architecture, as well as designing and implementing end-to-end solutions.  You’ll be a brilliant communicator who is a skilled listener and has the ability to translate ICT into layman’s terms. You’ll create a culture of progressive and inclusive ICT for all – including the children and families we support.

You could help Claire House Children’s Hospice to be there for many more children with life-threatening and terminal illnesses, creating memories that last a lifetime. You could help us to find ways to tell these children’s stories to everyone in Merseyside and beyond. You could help to revolutionise the way we work.

 Clinical Team Leader: £29,400-£32,400

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced children’s nurse to join Claire House as a Team Leader. We are looking for a highly motivated, inspirational nurse to support the Care Manager and work alongside the other team leaders in providing positive leadership and development of the Care Team.  Working closely with the Care Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operation of the Hospice, demonstrating high standards of clinical care, effective management skills, including the management of change. You will provide line management for a team of care staff and case management for an identified caseload of children and young people. You will also have an identified role within Clinical Governance for the hospice.

Previous experience of working with children with complex health needs, of working in a Hospice environment and experience of palliative care and symptom management is essential. Proven managerial experience or ability to demonstrate leadership and organisational skills is required.

Further training in management or leadership is desirable, as well as a qualification or relevant training in palliative care

Retail Area Manager – Salary:  £ Competitive

We are looking for a proven senior retail leader, with multi-site experience and a desire to develop themselves in an exciting, forward-thinking and empowering environment. Experience of working in the charity sector is not essential. The successful candidate will have experience in meeting tough targets and running a successful network of shops.

Your role will be to lead, inspire and provide direction to around 15 shops with a team of Assistant Area Managers, Shop Managers, Assistant Shop Managers and hundreds of volunteers.

Our aim is to be the leading charity retailer in the North West. We have plans to open more shops every year. The role will oversee the setup of new shops; source properties; oversee the design and fitting, recruit the right team and launching the store. So excellent project management skills and an understanding of what makes a successful shop are essential.
