VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – Full time permanent contract – £30,000

Could this be you?  We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent people skills and an ability to work across a range of teams and functions to join our People Services team.  Your passion for volunteering will mean you already have a track record in the volunteer movement and are keen to develop your professional knowledge and skills.  You will also be a great team player who is both flexible and professional in everything that you do.  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a sense of humour are vital.

FUNDRAISING VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR – 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
Starting Salary: £18,600

Are you passionate about volunteering? Are you an energetic individual with the power to persuade the community to support their local children’s hospice with their time and expertise? Could you effectively manage our existing volunteer workforce, ensuring they feel truly valued? Could you take the lead on our exciting volunteer development project within the fundraising department at Claire House, ensuring we have dedicated teams of fundraising volunteers across our catchment area?  If so, you are just the type of person that we are looking for.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the network of volunteers for the fundraising directorate, creating and delivering a strategy to ensure the fundraising team has a plethora of enthusiastic volunteers across the entire catchment area.  The role will involve the recruitment, training and development of volunteers, who are an extremely valued resource at Claire House. 
 
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing diverse groups of people, proven project management skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will hold a full UK Driving Licence.
