NURSING RECRUITMENT OPEN DAY MONDAY 13TH JUNE FROM 1PM - Come along and hear more about a career in nursing at Claire House Children's Hospice. 

Senior Nurses: £27,000-31,000

RSCN/RN Child/ RGN/RN with leadership and proven post registration experience with children and ideally experience of working with children/young people with complex, palliative or end of life care needs.

Nurses: £23,000-26,500

RSCN/RN Child with a minimum of 6 months post registration experience, ideally with experience of working with children and young people.

We offer additional payment for working regular weekends and nights.  You can also continue with your NHS superannuation scheme or join the Claire House pension scheme. Free parking available.

 

At Claire House we are passionate about providing the best possible care tailored to meet the individual needs of children and young people with life-limiting and life threatening conditions, as well as providing support to their families.

Our multidisciplinary team provides symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as planned and emergency short breaks both at the hospice and in the community. Dedicated family support and counselling is provided for all the family on an individual or group basis.

Communications Assistant: One Year Paid Internship

 

Are you a graduate with a passion for social media and a desire to explore a career in charity communications?

Claire House Children’s Hospice is a local children’s charity with big dreams of reaching every child and family that needs our support and we want you to help us achieve that dream.

Our Communications Team is looking for a confident, high energy individual with knowledge of communications, in particular digital communications, to support our busy team. You’ll learn to become a comms all-rounder, able to turn your hand to all aspects of tactical communications, from drafting a news release and selling it in to the press, to helping develop a robust and engaging social media content plan. As part of the Communications Team, you’ll provide support to the entire organisation; you’ll need to be able to adapt to the different needs of our departments, juggle priorities and handle a varied workload.

Your open-minded attitude and willingness to learn means you’ll understand the vital role Communications plays in supporting the work of Claire House Children’s Hospice, from thanking our donors through to attracting celebrity endorsement. We’re looking for an all-rounder who is prepared to make a valid contribution to our department and lay the ground-work for a successful career in charity comms.
