ACT1ON 10 CHALLENGE 2010 – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The ACTION 10 Challenge is a brand new and exciting challenge that Claire House will be running for the Hospice from January 10th 2010.
In order for us to raise the vital funds for the Hospice we are inviting members of the community along with key businesses to become involved with a 10 month ACTION 10 Challenge. Companies/Schools and organisations will sign up and organise a fundraiser to help support Claire House, and raise the necessary 2.5 million we need to keep our doors open for 2010. To help, Claire House will give each team £10.00 cash to grow however is feasible possible - as long as its legal.
As Claire House relies heavily on public funding and as the current running costs amount to 2.5 million annually, the Challenge has been designed to enable everyone to contribute and to do something immediate and positive. The Challenge is not just about raising funds, but raising fun, working together to meet the challenge. This is an ideal opportunity to build team spirit within the workplace/school, and take part in a fun project – all the time raising money for Claire House Children’s Hospice.
The Challenge Team here at Claire House will help individuals and teams to re-connect with that adventurous spirit of fun and exploration we want to create a network of strong supporters for the Hospice. The fundraisers here at Claire House believe that together we can build a strong relationship, with strong values of teamwork, quality, performance and entrepreneurialism and this is the essence of what the Claire House ACTION 10 Challenge will be all about.
